Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology is a system of evaluating body functions using muscle testing. These body functions include the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems, nutrition, acupuncture, and cerebrospinal fluid function. Muscle tests are applied to different areas of the body in a manner that evaluates the functional strength of specific muscle, organ and/or other tissue on the same nerve, vascular, and nutritional grouping. Applied Kinesiology can reveal the controlling factors that might be at fault for any weaknesses in the body.

Applied Kinesiology also allows for the evaluation of nervous system functions, a system that controls organs, glands, and other tissues. Through a "strong" muscle test, chiropractors determine when a nerve and/or the related body systems are returned to normal.

As an example of holistic care, muscle testing has proven to be a powerful method to discover food and supplement allergies. After removing the sources of allergies, bodies have a much easier time healing themselves naturally.

Patients also benefit from the cost savings that come from learning about their food allergies. Most people learn from muscle testing that they have been overspending on vitamins which their bodies do not need or cannot utilize.
